Handcrafted in the tradition of the great vintage mouthpieces, we have combined the essential acoustic design elements with this innovative material, and produced a mouthpiece of unsurpassed quality. Our philosophy is that, in order to get the tone quality, and depth of sound that many players seek in vintage mouthpieces, we must get back to the basics of fabrication.

Sculpted Inner Side Walls
The inner side walls are meticulously sculpted and rounded from the tip of the mouthpiece into the chamber. This opens the wind delivery, and creates a big, fat, round tone.

Drake Sopraan

Featuring a medium/small round chamber, this acoustic design is again very versatile and
great in a variety of settings. A short rollover baffle and concave floor slope create optimal
reflection of wind and greater timbre variation when you need it.

Free blowing with tremendous versatility, from lead alto, to soloist in an R&B setting. This
acoustic design features a round medium sized chamber and a short rollover baffle. The carefully calculated floor slope creates optimal air stream velocity and allows the player to shape his/her own personal sound.

Free blowing large chamber vintage style mouthpiece. This mouthpiece
features a short rollover baffle, and creates a round tone, balanced in overtones, with the

You will find this model offers great projection. The rollover baffle and carefully calculated floor slope promote an optimal projection. Just the right amount of undercutting on the side walls with a medium chamber.

This is an excellent choice for R&B, funk, or contemporary jazz settings. Featuring a longer step type baffle, this design has great projection. You can really get that “Sandborn” affect too.

We have designed this exciting new model to embody the characteristics of the great vintage NY Meyers with the added control and response qualities that Drake has become know for. The rollover baffle transitions to a gradual floor slope that delivers the air column at a carefully calibrated angle to give maximum projection and depth of tone. The medium "venturi" type chamber also contributes to a controled evenness of timbre through the registers.
The beak angle and body dimensions have also been design for optimal embouchure comfort and beauty. Made from Drake Vintage Resin.
